It’s the combination of both, high-street (produced en masse like Zara, H&M, Topshop and Co) and high-end (designer label) fashion pieces, that makes your outfit look more expensive than their price tag, agree?
For trendy clothing, I rather go for high-street labels like Zara and Co., as they are quite affordable, ready to wear and keep changing from season to season. I love to experience new trends and make them work for me in my daily wardrobe. But when it comes to handbags (and shoes, of course!), I personally love to invest in a high quality piece. Luckily, I have hardly been disappointed by any designer brand so far! So when I first discovered the new handbag collection “Kan I F” from (Fendi), I knew I need to get my hands on one of these cross-body beauties.
What I really liked about this collection was that the chain and logo details come in a mixture of silver and golden hardware and the leather body is available in many classy hues (although that one bold pink exclusively designed for (MyTheresa) stole my heart!). Back in my hometown Munich, I tried several colors and sizes (as member of the “petite” fraction the mini version suited me best) and in the end I decided to go for this light mouse-grey mini version. BTW: the leather is butter soft, believe me! I immediately started to save. My motto: work hard, shop even harder…
I scrolled through the online shop gallery every single day and as my savings were nearly complete just before christmas, my hubs surprised me with my favorite choice! The glitter in my eyes was apparently too obvious. I was the luckiest girl, thank you a thousand times, hubs!
I‘m wearing my “Kan I F” on repeat, honestly. The color and style of this high-end designer bag goes with anything and is an universal upgrade to every high-street outfit.
What‘s your opinion on mixing high-street and high-end fashion labels and what‘s next on your must-have list?

Hi Karin, I think we have the same point of view. For clothes of course sometime I bought designer pieces but I would definitely go more for high-street and when it comes to bags, high-end must better. Love your outfit btw. Pornwika xx

Hi Pornwika,
I buy designer cloths too, e.g. for a good winter coat/trench or a good skirt for the office – but classy and timeless pieces. Fashion however changes so fast, that the high street labels are perfect to try new trends.
So glad we have the same opinion!
