Spring frills!

After turtlenecks on high rotation, finally a new season is almost upon us. Bright, bold and beautiful – the new collections in stores and online shops signal the change from the grey and dark winter months to a fresh start. But getting dressed during this transitional period can be a challenge. Especially if you are impatient like me, its hard to wait until the temperatures rise to wear all the new spring trends! 

Ruffles were one of the key trends in 2017 and continue to play a major role in the warmer months, adorning everything from sleeves to collars to hemlines. As the weather still flip flops from wet and blustery to bird singing and sunny, I‘m officially kicking off spring with these super soft cropped flared tailored (pants) for a weekend city stroll with hubs. The ruffled hemline detail effortlessly turns classy check print trousers into something eye-catching.

As the focus is on my ankles, I paired my Anjalina Spikes for a more dramatic vibe. It was quite chilly outside when we left the house to grab some coffee, so this super lightweight oversized (coat) provided just the right amount of coziness. When the sun warmed up in the afternoon, I easily slip it off and balanced it around the shoulders (an easy one, thanks to that fun statement belt which comes inclusive!).
